Students in third grade will be participating in the annual GATE (Gifted And Talented Education) assessment during the timeframe of February 16th – March 10th. Students will be assessed over a three-day period using the CogAT 7 (Cognitive Abilities Test). Students are not encouraged to study for the CogAT. This tool simply measures how students think logically, not what they have learned in school. More information will be provided immediately prior to the assessment window. If you would like to learn more about GATE or opting out of this assessment, please contact the principal.
